Full-service association management of EuroVAprint, representation of interests and communication campaign.
Cambre manages EuroVAprint ASBL, a non-profit association grouping all major manufacturers of imaging equipment operating in Europe. We provide the legal and administrative structure to supervise the implementation and monitoring of a set of binding commitments made by the members of this new association in 2011 and sanctioned by the European Commission. These commitments are enshrined in a voluntary agreement, which represents the industry’s contribution to the EU’s 2020 agenda and more particularly the Energy Efficiency Action Plan and the Resource Efficiency Roadmap.
Our team first reviewed the association’s draft Statutes and made several suggestions to improve the governance of the association. We then drafted the first budget and put in place a sound financial mechanism to ensure compliance with Belgian legislation. We launched the association’s website and have become the fully operational secretariat of EuroVAprint. We manage all requests from members, from the media and are the point of reference for all institutional enquiries. We also developed and updated a stakeholder mapping, organised a meeting programme with EU officials and launched a large campaign to promote the findings of a 40-page long European Commission environmental impact assessment report on the imaging equipment industry. We translated it into a powerful infographic which, coupled with a media campaign, was disseminated to EU and specialised press. It has been widely referenced.
The association is now fully compliant with Belgian legislation, both legally and financially. It has established itself as a full-fledged stakeholder.
