The Brewers of Europe requested a “creative, out-of-the-box communication plan” to drive media and stakeholder outreach in Brussels and support members of The Brewers of Europe. Cambre proposed a programme to strengthen and complement The Brewers’ strategic communications plan and to create broader public affairs opportunities.
Cambre provided a communications program to help The Brewers of Europe manage policy-related matters at EU level and to drive media and stakeholder outreach in Brussels. We developed tools and materials to support member organisations and promote the sector’s position on a variety of issues, including taxation and commercial communications.
Cambre also developed audio-visual and online tools to support outreach. We worked closely with the Brussels-based and international media to promote The Brewers’ activities and support their advocacy objectives. This included advising on endorser strategies and creating narratives to communicate on key issues.
For example, Cambre helped The Brewers promote their voluntary commitment to the European Commission on ‘advertising self-regulation’. The subsequent report was endorsed by a leading official and shared with key decision-makers in the EU institutions. It received significant media coverage, which helped to position The Brewers as thought-leaders on the broader issue of ‘self-regulation’.
We also worked on promoting the role of brewers supporting local communities following the publication of an in-depth report.
