Overview

Cambre hosts the Secretariat of the Alliance for European Logistics. Our work with AEL started with the renewal of AEL’s Declaration for the new policy term, combined with active engagement with policy-makers. Cambre supports the Alliance with communication, media and social media activities and organises the European Logistics Summit.

Problem/approach/solution

The re-shuffle of the European Institutions gave rise to new opportunities. With the start of the new policy term, Cambre supported the Alliance for European Logistics with the renewal of their Declaration, which was launched at a High-Level event. A core priority for the years to come will be to work with policy-makers towards achieving the policy asks identified as key for the sector. Cambre supports the Alliance with communication activities, for instance by developing an educational leaflet about the sector, managing content on their website and running social media activities. Cambre also raises the profile of the logistics industry by organising the European Logistics Summit in Brussels, which is a High-Level event bringing together policy-makers and stakeholders. Cambre supports AEL with media relations mainly around the Summit and High-Level events.
